I remember Leonard as a wonderful, kind and gentle young man. He was one of the first people to befriend me when I started 2nd grade at Robinson after my family moved from Pittsburgh to Detroit.
Quite unexpectedly while at work in 2004, I ran into his brother, Roger. He told me that Leonard had died suddenly at the age of 44 of a massive heart attack. He left behind a wife and two children.
Leonard will always be remembered kindly. Rest in peace, my friend.
