Bob & I attended both Guardian Angels & Denby together. We liked to cruise Dunkenburgers and other drive-ins with our buddy Duane Steinman. Both Duane & I stood up in Bob's wedding. Bob was proud of his service in the USMC. Bob passed away in Dec. 1996. He is missed by family & friends.
Bob was one of my best friend for over thirty five years, from our Detroit News paper route to Florida vacations with our families, we had so many great times. Bob was the first of our foursome of Marty Eichorn, Dennis Lynch and myself to have a car and was the designated driver whether we were going to Detroit Dragway or to White Castle on Monday evening after catechism. Bob was a great son, brother and family man. One of Bob's many interests was camping/traveling with his family, which he did extensively. Bob was best man at my wedding, me at his. The only thing that Bob and I didn't get to do together was grow old. I sometimes wonder what we'd be doing together in our retirement years. Thanks Bob for all the good times and memories.
