Sue Burkheiser (Miller)
Sally and I reconnected in 1997 through Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in Macomb.
We had just moved here from Detroit and my daughter had to start 8th grade so I enrolled
her there. Sally and I became great "Buddies" as she called me. We had great times together
especially after she retired from being our pastors' secretary. She was a great one for sending
me gifs through the cell phone; we "talked" almost every day. Lunches at Aspen, Max and
Ermas, Senior Bible Study, L.W.M.L., Prayer blanket ministries were among the things we
did together. She is loved by an abundance of people and will always be remembered. Her
smile was infectious as was her caring personality. Miss you Buddy!
