I didn't know Janice until we met at a Denby Dance at the end of my senior year. I was a late arrival for the dance because I had to work at the Hayes-Troester Market. However, we spent the remainder of the dance together, laughing and dancing. It was the best Denby Dance I went to. Following the dance we chatted often at school and hung-out together on the Senior Trip to Bob-Lo. Unfortunately, the school year ended and classmates went separate ways. If I did not already have a Prom date, I would have asked Janice. She holds a special place in my high school memories.
